*New Model* - The low-cost Tranjo Express is the latest addition to the Tranjo line. It features a high quality imported maple neck mated to a wood and aluminum body with a pre-tensioned 8" head. The overall weight is just under 3 pounds, and you still get the full scale playing experience in a suitcase sized package.
The string locking tuners hold the strings in place when disassembled.
The Tranjo Express includes a padded nylon case, strap and capo

New updates - The Tranjo Express is available in 8" diameter only. I am not going to offer a 6" model (as seen in the video). The wooden body of the Tranjo Express will be made of laminated bamboo, a renewable resource, which is stronger and lighter than maple or walnut. Production models will be available beginning January 1, 2010. Due to higher than expected production costs, the price for the Tranjo Express will go up to $400 on January 1. I will continue to offer the $350 price for any order received before then.
