To disassemble the Tranjo, first unscrew the string clamp from under the neck | |
|  | Detune the strings until you can easily press them to the front plate. Put the capo on the sixth fret... |

Clamp the strings to the front plate... |
  |
Remove the neck bolt... |
| Pull the neck up to release it from the mounting slot... |
 |
Take care not to twist the strings around the neck... |
 |
 |
 | The Tranjo easily fits into an 18" or 20" carry-on. |
